RMantra was born from an ardent desire amongst its founders to create a market for all the beautiful and unparalleled creativity.  Their passion for creative artwork, combined with their dedication towards empowering the underprivileged sections of the society, led to the foundation of this company.

The Founders had been actively involved in social service and were associated with several NGOs. They would help the socially marginalized women and children nurture their creativity by conducting classes and workshops centered on various types of art and crafts in the slums of Udaipur. During the course of these sessions, they discovered the hidden potential of young girls and women, RMantra was conceived on this noble thought.

In the year 2015, the company was independently registered as a Partnership Firm under the Indian Partnership Act, 1932. The creative founders have aptly exhibited their own creativity in the way they have named their initiative –with a subtle reference to the 3Rs in Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. The tagline “Refined by hands, Run by hearts” not only refers to the intricately designed hand-made crafts that they make, but also reflects their passion for these products.

In Initial Phase , Convincing  people, especially the womenfolk, to join us was not an easy task. The strongly patriarchal mindset of the underprivileged people of Rajasthan was not supportive of their women’s vocational interest. The dauntless Team of RMantra struggled heard to convince them and successfully got a couple of ladies on board. Today RMantra has grown from a team of 2 to around 20,where women and girls from a deprived background are given an opportunity to earn a living.

We focused on gathering an idea of the market, the customers’ requirement and started working on a range of products for sale. Attractive merchandise like handmade bags, envelopes, and paintings were ready soon and the team took to various social media platforms for promoting products. Our  first local offline sale was a huge success. The euphoric smiles of contentment on the faces of Our employees encourages us. In this way, We were able to give a taste of independence to our needy employees. We realized that our true calling was in promoting human dignity. This was our way of giving back to the society.

Our primary mission for the RMantra is to support handmade and encourage Women from less privileged backgrounds to acquire new skills; to give them the self-confidence and self-esteem.
